Michael Ardaiolo discusses China’s evolving foreign policy strategy and the adjoining public diplomacy initiatives as it settles into being a global power with Dr. David M. Lampton.

Dr. David M. Lampton is the Hyman Professor and Director of China Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He is also the former president of the National Committee on United States-China Relations in New York. His newest book, Following the Leader: Ruling China, From Deng Xiaoping to Xi Jinping, will be published by University of California Press in January 2014.

Michael Ardaiolo is currently a student in Syracuse University's Public Diplomacy Master's Program: M.A. in International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and M.S. in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. In addition, he is a recovering record slinger, a Criterion Collection addict, an NBA obsessor, and a struggling student of the Korean language.
